Kinema Citrus, the animation studio behind the popular anime series "Made in Abyss," is celebrating its 16th anniversary with the announcement of two new anime projects.

In an interview with founder Muneki Ogasawara, he revealed that the studio is working on a new television series and an original anime film. Both projects are set in the world of "Made in Abyss" but will tell new stories.

Ogasawara said that he is excited to return to the world of "Made in Abyss" and to explore new stories with the characters.

"The world of "Made in Abyss" is a fascinating one with its rich history and unique characters," he said. "I'm looking forward to sharing new stories with our fans and to introducing new people to this wonderful world."

The new television series is scheduled to premiere in 2024. The original anime film is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
